The FreezeCrowd Journey Continues, Now Testing…

This week I’ve spent a lot of time uploading stuff to FreezeCrowd.  Starting a social networking site involves doing all the great stuff that other people who use the site do not see.  It’s more than just recruiting the members to join, yet that’s a very important part, if not the most important part.  It’s about the network, and the network affect, creating links, and linking people.  Making the connection, the connection with everything and everything.

So, it’s amazing how people continue to ask how we are different, and there’s something very unique about FreezeCrowd, and that’s one simple point that makes us special, and that’s it’s about 2 things, the crowd of people, and bringing these people together to initiate communication.  Other social networks do not emphasize this point, yet FreezeCrowd does.

FreezeCrowd requires the photo to communicate, and that’s the rule.  No photo on FreezeCrowd, you don’t exist.  If you’re a real user of a social networking site that is driven by photos, you can place a photo of yourself online.  Think about it this way, your FreezeCrowd profile is in essence your yearbook photo, just like your school yearbook photo.

Testing:

Getting the site tested.  A great site can only launch once it’s tested.  I did a lot of research on testing companies, and software testers.  I made the choice to go with uTest to test FreezeCrowd.  They test and crowdsource the effort.  It’s a great way to get a site tested, you find different testers who are passionate about testing new sites, and they provide the feedback.

Launching:

Working towards it! This has been a challenge, yet it’s something we will be doing soon…

Working hard!
